Mexico City
The Four Seasons
This hotel is a lux, tasteful sanctuary with a hustling city right outside it's doors. It's centered around a lush courtyard with checkerboard tiling, lots of intimate seating areas, lights and fountains. The view of this courtyard from the rooms is just as breathtaking as walking through it. It is also the home to the restaurant "Zaynaya," where I enjoyed breakfast from one of the best buffets I've ever seen. The hotel is also home to "Fifty Mils," which is ranked one of the best cocktail bars in the world. The third floor sundeck was a great place to workout and relax in the pool and hot tub. The rooms are equally as elegant as the rest of the hotel.
Restaurants
Mexico City is home to one of my all time favorite restaunrants, "Em." Their tasting menu is pricy but sooo worth it. The untraditional omakase features nine courses, but a regular la carte menu is also available. Chef Lucho Martinez brings together unexpected flavor pairings drawn from both Mexican and Japanese culinary heritage.
Some other recommendations include: "Tacos Orinoco," really yummy street style tacos, and "Lampuga," Mediterranean seafood with great ambiance.

A must visit: Parque Quetzalcoatl
Parque Quetzalcoatl is a truly breathtaking site, designed by the renowned architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. The architecture is nothing short of insane, blending ancient symbolism with modern creativity in a way that leaves visitors in awe. From massive, serpentine sculptures to intricate mosaics, the park's design is a visual masterpiece that tells a story of Mexican heritage. This stunning location even caught the eye of pop culture icons—it's where the famous music video for Elton John and Britney Spears' "The One" was filmed! It also became a hotspot for celebrities, with Dua Lipa reportedly staying in an Airbnb on the grounds. If you can get a room here, do it—you’ll be staying somewhere truly unique. I wasn’t able to score one during my visit, but it’s definitely on my bucket list for next time.
